If you have completed or are close to completing your manuscript and are looking
for a publisher we would be pleased to hear from you.
In the first instance we would suggest that you email us with a brief synopsis of
your work, together with a sample chapter and a little background information about
yourself. We will review this and will then let you know whether we would like to
see a copy of your manuscript.
Alternatively you may wish to send us a copy of your manuscript (please enclose a
stamped addressed envelope if you would like us to return it to you once we have

• Fiction - topical or distinctive, which captures the reader's attention.
• Specialist topics - where you have a first class command of the subject area.
• Academic or professional work - which is written in a “public friendly” or “student
Once we have received a copy of your completed or nearly completed manuscript we
will consider it, and usually within six weeks will let you know whether it is of
interest. If you decide to take up our offer of publication we will pay you an advance
in three parts: on the signing of a publishing contract; on delivery of the completed
manuscript, and when the proofs are sent to the printers. The publishing contract
will set out your rights to royalties and, both ours and your respective obligations.
During the book revision and editing process we work with individuals who are members
of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders. Their professional skills are a valuable
